EmberGraph Intel finds a litigator's leverage in the record.

About EmberGraph Intel

Lawyers are good at the hardest part of a case: turning a mountain of material into the few points a court will weigh. What they rarely have is the time to read the whole record, and the record beyond it, with the discipline that finds every point.

EmberGraph Intel does that reading. We apply structured analytic techniques, the methods intelligence analysts use to decide what a body of evidence shows and where to look next, to the record you give us and to the public record we go and get. Every finding carries its source. Our own counsel reviews every report before it reaches you. You receive evidence you can review and file, and a plain read of the risks and the rewards on both sides.

We do not replace your lawyers, your paralegals or your experts. We work beside them, and we find your leverage: the next filing, the question for deposition, the fact buried in a record no one had time to read.

EmberGraph Intel was founded in Salt Lake City in 2026. Complexity breeds ignorance. We read the whole record.

Andrew Piskadlo, Managing Director

Andrew Piskadlo founded EmberGraph Intel to give lawyers what a disciplined reading of the whole record produces: leverage they can file. As Managing Director he sets the direction of the work, and he works and signs off on every report.

He came to this work through the trades, the sciences and engineering. In a research lab studying Great Salt Lake he traced a flawed measurement to its cause and corrected the method; he is an author on two studies of the lake published in 2020. As an engineer he used designed experiments to carry manufacturing processes into new medical devices, and he co-wrote a textbook chapter on low-cost fabrication, published by Elsevier in 2024. Each taught him the same thing: a problem too large to see whole gives way when it is broken into parts and each part is tested against the evidence.

In 2024 he began applying structured analytic techniques, the methods intelligence analysts use to weigh evidence, to find leverage in his own research. He then used them on litigation and fraud matters, assembling reports in short order. In July 2025 he sat through a federal criminal trial in Salt Lake City from its first day, publishing his analysis as it ran and putting the questions that mattered most where they could be used. That was when he saw the product, and full development began.

That work is EmberGraph Intel, formed in March 2026. It builds Corpus Analysis Reports: structured analytic techniques, our own judgement on every line, and Project Insight, an engine built entirely in house to set out what the record shows, with every decision made by us.

Jonathan Koehle, General Counsel

Jonathan Koehle leads the legal side of EmberGraph Intel. Every matter has a lawyer on it, and a lawyer reviews every report before it reaches you; he answers for both and oversees our lawyers.

How the work is done

Everyone on a matter owns it.

  • A principal investigator runs each matter from the first call to the report: your point of contact, who decides with the lawyer who takes each part.
  • Analysts work the questions by written method, rule on every finding with a reason, and work with your legal team to gather what the record needs.
  • Engineers keep Project Insight, our own engine, running on every matter.
  • A lawyer on every matter makes sure each question is answered, the gaps are plain and the report is usable. Our lawyers work under the General Counsel.
  • Two signatures release every report: the principal investigator's and the lawyer's.
